Sugar – 1 & ½ cups
Eggs – 3
Milk – ½ cup
Instant coffee powder – ½ teaspoon
Unsweetened cocoa powder – 1 cup
All-purpose flour – 2 cups

How to Make this Super Easy Chocolate Cake:

Preheat the oven and prep the baking tin: Preheat the oven to 180 C. Prepare the baking tin by lining it with parchment paper.
Prepare the cake batter: In a large bowl, pour 1 cup of melted salted butter. To this add 1 & ½ cups of sugar and whisk well. To this mixture, add 3 eggs, one at a time, and beat well. In a small bowl, mix ½ teaspoon of instant coffee powder in ½ cup of whole milk. Pour the coffee-milk mixture into the butter-egg-sugar mixture and combine well. To this, add 1 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder and combine. To this, add 2 cups of all-purpose flour and fold. Fold till the flour is fully incorporated into the batter. Do not over-mix the batter.
Bake the cake: Transfer the cake batter into the already prepared baking tin. Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180 C for 45 minutes. After baking let the cake cool in the cake tin for 10 minutes before transferring it to a cooling rack.
