My name is Emil. I am a lover of food and all things beautiful. My love for cooking was instilled in me by my mother. As a kid, I loved helping her in the kitchen, and the beautiful aromas and tastes of my mom’s cooking helped me appreciate food and develop taste. Over the years and after marriage, my love for cooking and baking strengthened. My best food critic and friend, my husband has helped and encouraged me in my food journey. I love spending time in our kitchen; cooking and baking my family’s favorites when I’m over the moon, or stress baking when my days are blue.

It took a long time and courage for me to start this blog. Being a person with so many insecurities held me back. This blog is proof of good times for all those who are under pressure or depressed. Let me bring you too through my journey of finding pleasure by baking for your family.

When I chose to stay at home and take care of our kids when they came along, against the many joys and love, grew my insecurities and frustrations of confinement and not bringing anything to my family. If you are one of those mothers, I know, I know. Give yourselves some love and take one day at a time. Bake with me through your blues. The instant result of creating something very delicious is going to lift your mood and your family’s too.

The recipes I share here are easy to follow and give delicious results. Though I love spending time in my kitchen, I know, you don’t.
